Using 5-HTP As a Natural Flight Anxiety Treatment

With the almost necessity of air travel in today’s society it is important for everyone to be comfortable with flying throughout the entire duration the flight. While flight anxiety to some degree is extremely common and afflicts nearly all travelers at some point during the flight, for some this anxiety gets to a point of becoming unbearable. One of these supplements is known as 5-HTP. 5-HTP is actually a naturally occurring amino acid found in the brain. This amino acid is a precursor to the neurotransmitter serotonin. This means that it activates a part of the brain to produce the neurotransmitter serotonin. Serotonin is known to affect mood, and anxiety levels. When you take 5-HTP, it naturally causes the brain to produce more serotonin which decreases anxiety levels, and can lead to a happy stress free flight.
